Strength training is the best form of exercise one can do to build up stamina and tone the muscles. It significantly improves one’s health, body functions, fights depression, boost stamina, helps sleep well and helps to control weight. There are different types of training but the most common technique is of progressively increasing the force output of the muscle through incremental increases of weight, elastic tension or other resistance, and uses a variety of exercises and types of exercising equipments to target specific muscle groups. Circuit training and aerobic exercises are part of strength training. Strength training is not bodybuilding or weightlifting it is a training to increase the body’s metabolism. One can easily set up a routine- number of rep to do, weight to use while training at the gym with an initial help of a personal/ professional trainer. All fields of sports use strength training to boost their player’s metabolism so they can be super fit and increase their speed.
